Reject AIPAC: Anti-Palestinian groups threaten human rights
Anti-Palestinian groups have dumped historic amounts of dark money to unseat incumbents who have been vocal on Palestine and critical of Israel. Last night's New York primary election results, including Rep. Jamaal Bowman's loss, shows the lengths to which Zionists go to prop up pro-genocide candidates-- by redrawing congressional district lines, using anti-Black racism, and dumping $14.5 million into a single race.
AIPAC, DMFI, and other groups know their genocidal anti-Palestinian ideology is failing, and that money and racism are the only tactics it has to sway the vote. Now, these groups will try to buy more races to remove incumbents like Rep. Cori Bush, who has consistently championed and defended Palestinian rights, leading the Ceasefire Now resolution in the House since October.
Shame on every candidate who takes anti-Palestinian money and supports AIPAC-funded candidates to advance the interests of a foreign government. They are sacrificing progressive values, human rights, and democracy, moving further right for political power. Elected officials must take on corruption and foreign influence, and make serious changes to key mechanisms and consequences for buying elections.
